Frequently Asked Questions

When is April 2026 General Conference?
The 196th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is held Saturday and Sunday, April 4 and 5, 2026, with four two-hour sessions: Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, and Sunday afternoon. A women’s session is typically held the Saturday evening before.
What is this family study guide?
A free family-friendly companion to every talk given at April 2026 General Conference. Each talk includes a warm summary written for families, 3–5 discussion questions parents can use with their children, a kid-friendly infographic, a quick quiz, and hands-on games for younger kids in the Kids Corner.
How should our family use it?
If your family is anything like ours, you're trying to cram gospel study into the cracks of a crazy schedule — in the car on the way to school, right before bed, between practices and homework. We built this site selfishly for our own family so we could actually go back and review the talks from conference without a 30-minute sit-down. With short attention spans at the table, we wanted something our kids could absorb in just a few minutes: a quick summary, a couple of questions, a little infographic, a fun game. If all you've got is five minutes before school, open a talk together, read the summary, ask one question, and you're done. That's a win. Use it however it fits your family.
Is this an official Church website?
No. This is an independent resource built by a Latter-day Saint family to help other families study General Conference together. For official Church resources, visit churchofjesuschrist.org.
Where can I watch General Conference?
General Conference is broadcast live and on demand at churchofjesuschrist.org, in the Gospel Library app, on the Church’s official YouTube channel, on BYUtv, and on many local television and radio stations. Written transcripts of every talk are typically posted within days of Conference.
Does this cost anything?
No. The General Conference Family Study Guide is completely free to use and share. If it blesses your family, share it with your ward, branch, neighbors, and friends. That’s the whole point.
Why focus on families?
Because the home is where the gospel takes root. Parents and children learning together turns General Conference from a broadcast into a memory. This guide exists to make those conversations easier, richer, and more fun — especially for kids who might otherwise tune out.

"And my soul hungered; and I kneeled down before my Maker, and I cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul."

Enos 1:4

May your family be blessed as you study together.
